Keeping up with the Change

rootedinmystrength

It's a brand new year! Every year starts with the bright promises of hope and change. I've been noticing a trend lately to accept that you will never achieve those resolutions, to just sit back and decide to settle on who you are now. I have to disagree.

Yes. Accept yourself. Love yourself. But if you are like me and have been fighting for certain changes for years and years, fight no more! I spent so long desperately trying to achieve what I feel are fairly basic goals. Make better food choices, take steps to grow deeper in my faith, build and keep a schedule; these are the things that have been haunting me for years. I feel this is the year it'll happen.

But what changed? I'm sure most of us are familiar with the idea of SMART goals, I know I've sat down many a year and made goals of my own that didn't work. Since then, I have found out why all of my goals fell flat. I may have discovered the secret to creating and keeping habits that last!

Let me walk you through my struggles. My particular flavor of PTSD, anxiety, and depression share a lot in common with ADHD; meaning plenty of struggles with memory and starting tasks. I'm the type to get excited about new change and go overboard. Of course this means I burn myself out in just a few weeks and during that recovery I lose my progress. Rinse and repeat. I often found myself unmotivated, frustrated, and even feeling guilty I couldn't manage even basic things. The root of the problem was buried in a lack of understanding. I had no idea how to make even the most positive change stick. As it turns out, I was on the right track with using SMART goals, and for some people just that step is enough. I need more support, and that's okay.

After spending months on testing, research, making adjustments, and even more testing I feel I have finally cracked the code to success. I have developed a method of creating lasting change that has been working for me for three months. This method is rooted in repetition, reinforcement, and reward. Combined with surprising, powerful tools my method has not failed me and I cannot wait to share it with you, dear reader.

Packing my discovery in one blog would be difficult, so I created a webinar, Essential Change that I host on Facebook. I currently have three events lined up, with plans to release two more dates later today. You can find my events on my Facebook page. All of my events are free to attend, participants will have access to a 50% discount on the Essential Change kit designed to support change and self care.

I have to make it clear, I am in no way part of any MLM group. My kit is something I developed using my unique blends that are available individually in my Etsy shop. The kit includes a roller, a spritzer, and a bath salt. These blends work together to encourage users by creating an uplifting, soothing environment. All of my blends are made with all natural, high quality ingredients, you can learn more about these product on my Etsy shop.

Peace to you,
